About Our Email System

Our Email is both web based as well as being a true POP account.  This gives us advantages over AOL, which is only a web based system, and most others which are only POP based accounts.

A web based email system allows you to check your email from any computer in the world.  All you have to do is to type in our web address in the address bar at the top of your browser to get to our site.  From there you can check your emails as well as send new ones.  This is extremely handy for business people on the move or for people on vacation away from home.

A POP account is a full service email account which is usually accessed by an email program such as Outlook Express.  This is the type of account provided by most Internet services.  These are not very efficient for business people on the go or with multiple computers or offices.  This disadvantage is explained below.

When someone sends you an email it is sent to our secure servers where it sits waiting for you to retrieve it.  As soon as you use most email programs such as Outlook Express to check your emails the emails are physically remove off our servers and put on your local hard drive.  This is very annoying if you have different computers or offices that you use.  Let's say you check your emails while in your home office.  Now the emails are physically on that computer.  Tomorrow you are in one of your fields offices and need to refer to a previous email.  You can't since the email is physically on a different computer.

This is the advantage of a true web based email system.  When you check your email with our system your emails remain on our servers until you delete them.  The advantage is that your previous emails are available to you no matter where you are.
